Nashik: Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd is exploring the feasibility of entering emerging markets such as Indonesia and Russia in partnership with Ford Motor Co. “We are exploring various aspects with Ford; manufacturing, sourcing, engineering or even on the retail front. But things are at a very initial stage (in these markets) to conclude what aspect we will be partnering on,” said Mahindra managing director Pawan Goenka. |

New Delhi: Auto major Mahindra & Mahindra reported Saturday 14 per cent increase in total sales at 48,324 units in August. The company had sold 42,207 units in the same month last year, M&M said in a statement. In the domestic market, sales were at 45,373 units last month, up 15 per cent, as compared to 39,615 units in August 2017. |

Q1FY19 PAT was Rs 2.7 bn. Earnings growth was led by strong AUM growth, expansion in reported spreads and improvement in cost-to-income ratio. Asset quality improved as gross stage-3 ratio declined 510bps y-o-y. Disbursement growth was also strong during the quarter, driven by high disbursement in the CV, pre-owned vehicle and tractor segments. We consider the stock attractive at 3.1x FY20E P/Adj B and maintain our ‘buy’ rating. |

The top management at Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) believes the tractor industry will grow at a much faster of 12-14% y-o-y in 2018-19 than the earlier anticipated 8-10%. The optimism stems primarily from the fact that the monsoon could be a good one and comes on the back of two good monsoons in 2017 and 2016. |

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) on Tuesday reported a 67% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profits at Rs 1,257 crore for the three months to June, driven by a smart increase in revenues. It may be recalled that Q1FY18 was the pre-GST quarter during which companies stayed light on inventories. The company’s revenue rose 23% year-on-year to Rs 13,358 crore, driven by increase in volumes of 5.6% year-on-year in SUVs and a smart 19% year-on-year jump in the volumes of tractors. |

Mahindra electric KUV100 (eKUV 100) SUV will be the first ever all-electric SUV to be launched in India with its launch scheduled in May/June 2019. Earlier in 2017, Dr Pawan Goenka had confirmed KUV100 going all-electric and the SUV was also showcased at the Auto Expo 2018. Mahindra Electric is currently the only automaker in India to commercially sell electric cars in India with the sale of Mahindra E20 Plus and Mahindra e-Verito. |

Mahindra’s Truck and Bus Division (MTBD), the commercial vehicle arm of Mahindra Group, on Tuesday unveiled its new range of intermediate commercial vehicles (ICVs) called Furio, in a bid to increase its market presence in the commercial vehicles (CVs) segment. Under the range, MTBD will be launching 21 products ranging from 6.5T to 16T, seven of which will be launched with BS-IV engine and the rest complying with BSVI norms. |

Shares of Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) were quoting higher for the fifth straight trading days, hitting new high of Rs 940, up 2% on the BSE, after the government last week increased the minimum support price (MSP) of kharif crops for 2018-19. In past six trading sessions, M&M has rallied 6% as compared to 1.5% rise in the S&P BSE Sensex. In past four months, it surged 29% against 7.5% rise in the benchmark index. |
