In 1990’s when the Indian Aviation Industry recorded a significant growth as a result of liberalization of Indian economy, MAK took the initiative and boldly diversified from conventional electrical and mechanical items into the development and manufacture of aircraft ground support equipment to International standards. Under the guidance of this visionary technocrat Mr. Athapa Manickam, MAK Controls has flourished and our annual turnover is around Rs.2000 lacs. We remain the epitome of how an Indian enterprise can successfully design and manufacture, mechanical, electrical, electronic capital equipment and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for aviation applications to international standards and prosper even against stiff competition from overseas manufacturers.
