Mom is an upcoming Indian thriller film directed by Ravi Udyawar and produced by Boney Kapoor, Sunil Manchanda, Mukesh Talreja, Naresh Agarwal and Gautam Jain.
The film stars Sridevi, Sajal Ali and Adnan Siddiqui in lead roles, with Akshaye Khanna and Abhimanyu Singh in supporting roles, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a special appearance.
Music for the film is being scored by A. R. Rahman.
Mom is Sridevi's 300th film and is being released in the 50th year of her film career.
It was announced in early 2016 that Sridevi would be starring next in Boney Kapoor's woman-centric home-production titled Mom to be directed by Ravi Udyawar.
Two Pakistani actors, Sajal Ali and Adnan Siddiqui were cast in leading roles alongside Sridevi, as her estranged daughter and husband.
Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui was cast to play an important cameo role in the film and the actor revealed that it was a "dream come true" for him to work with Sridevi.
The first spell of film was shot in New Delhi in March 2016 around locations of Shri Ram College of Commerce in Delhi University and Noida Film City.
The filmmakers announced that Mom would also be dubbed and released in Tamil, Telugu and Malyalam. The Trailer of Mom went on to garner 3 million views on the first day itself.
The film is scheduled for release on 7 July 2017, in four languages.
