Williams Pipeline Partners is piping up across the Rockies to the northwestern US. Williams Pipeline Partners L.P. owns a 35% general partnership interest in Northwest Pipeline, which operates a natural gas pipeline extending from the San Juan Basin in New Mexico and Colorado to the Canadian border near Sumas, Washington. With about 3,900 miles of pipeline, Northwest can move some 3 billion cu. ft. of natural gas each day and has a storage capacity of 12.6 billion cu. ft. In 2010 parent The Williams Companies announced plans to merge Williams Pipeline Partners into Williams Partners.
