Avnet Abacus unifies the strengths of Avnet Time and the interconnect, passive, emech and battery business of Abacus Group, acquired by Avnet in January 2009. We are a pan-European distributor with a strong local focus providing all the financial service, logistical and fulfilment benefits that you would expect from a global distributor with the personal service, local presence and product choice of a local distributor.

Abacus Group key strength is Abacus Group product to customer approach. Offering a vast selection of products from 47 pan-European suppliers, complemented by a further range of strong multi-regional and local suppliers, via 45 offices in 19 countries, Avnet Abacus provides a product choice that is second to none. Our expanded linecard and extended technology focus is supported by a highly focussed, pan-European team, including over 50 product specialists. These product specialists work with the customer at the system level, integrating the components, assemblies and cables that we supply into a solution that meets and exceeds the design brief. Further support is offered to engineers via online product selection tools, design references and sample requests.
