Its manufacturing complex is comprised of sawmills, dry kilns, and a planer mill. The company's foresters also provide services to help timber owners manage standing timber lots. The enterprise was started in 1973 by brothers Charles and Dan Brownlee, who contracted themselves as loggers to sawmills in western Pennsylvania. In 1978 they established their own mill.
