| DivX, Inc. | | DivX, Inc. (NASDAQ: DIVX) is a leading digital media company that enables consumers to enjoy a high-quality video experience across any kind of device. We create, distribute and license digital video technologies that span the "three screens" comprising today's consumer media environment — the PC, the television and mobile devices. Over 200 million DivX devices have shipped into the market from leading consumer electronics manufacturers. We also offer content providers and publishers a complete solution for the distribution of secure, high-quality digital video content. Driven by a globally recognized brand and a passionate community of hundreds of millions of consumers, DivX is simplifying the video experience to enable the digital home. In 2007, DivX acquired MainConcept AG, a leading provider of H.264 and other high-quality video technologies for the broadcast, film, consumer electronics and computer software markets. MainConcept has developed a range of innovative, industry-leading video solutions to fulfill its vision of "Every Codec. Every Platform.” Working together, the two companies are able to offer an advanced video technology suite that complements the core DivX licensing business and speeds entry into new product categories.
