Our company was founded in 1937 as the in-house maintenance division of Air Canada, operating as Air Canada Technical Services (ACTS). In 1968, we began providing airframe, engine and component solutions to non-Air Canada customers, helping us expand our MRO reach among new carriers. In 2007, we reached an agreement to acquire 80% of Aeroman, the MRO affiliate of Taca Airlines, one of Central America's largest airlines. On October 16, 2007, ACTS became an independent company when premier investment firms Sageview Capital and KKR Private Equity Investors acquired a 70% stake in our organization, providing us with strong support and expertise to contribute to our long-term success. On September 23, 2008, we formally adopted Aveos as our new name, signifying the latest step in our evolution. Today, we’re the leading independent, nose-to-tail MRO provider in the Americas. With our affiliate Aeroman, Latin America’s top MRO provider, and strategic partners such as General Electric, CFM International, Hamilton Sundstrand, Honeywell and Aero Inventory, we offer a comprehensive range of customizable services across five MRO facilities. So wherever our customers may need us, chances are we’re just around the corner.

Our talented and passionate employees focus on forging long-term, close partnerships with customers. By understanding your challenges, we help you proactively seize opportunities, increase your overall efficiency and reduce your total cost of fleet ownership. Good news for everyone. At Aveos, we strive to continuously improve our service model by paying close attention and adapting to our customers’ ever-changing realities. And we preserve our reputation for excellence through ongoing investments in Lean manufacturing, Environment, Health and Safety, and best-in-class enterprise management. We’re proud to admit that not a lot of MROs can claim the same.
