(OPTi) is engaged in licensing its intellectual property for use by personal computer (PC) manufacturers and semiconductor device manufacturers. The Company was founded as an independent supplier of semiconductor products to the personal computer and embedded marketplaces. The Company’s principal business were its logic products for desktop PCs. In September 2002, the Company sold its product fabrication, distribution and sales operation to Opti Technologies Inc. On August 3, 2006, the Company entered into a license and settlement agreement with NVIDIA Corporation (NVIDIA). Under the License Agreement, the Company agreed to dismiss its patent infringement lawsuit against NVIDIA and license certain patents to NVIDIA.
