ILS is an American company, headquartered in Reston, Va., a suburb of Washington, D.C. The majority shareholder is Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center of Moscow. The Proton vehicle launches both commercial ILS missions and Russian government payloads from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, which is operated by the Russian Space Agency (Roscosmos) under lease from the Republic of Kazakhstan. We are a complete launch service organization, committed to nurturing partnerships with our customers, not just marketing and fulfilling launch contracts. We're at the customer's side from contract signing through mission completion.

With ILS customers get a single source of comprehensive knowledge, from business management to technical interface to licensing support. We have a staff of about 60 people with decades of combined expertise in the international launch and satellite business. The International Launch Services team has accumulated an extensive experience base. In our 15 years of existence, we have launched most commercial satellite platforms and worked with all major satellite operators. This experience helps us keep integration times and launch campaigns short and maintain a steady launch pace. It's the kind of professionalism that has helped International Launch Services become the provider of choice for customers worldwide.
